iI know we have written about this before the two of us, but I still find it difficult to accept that last years live score  was brilliant and I do obviously understanid about illness etc.    I think if the club realised how fans who do not get to the game really like to know what going on and use to look forward to a saturday afternoon forum , they could have come up with a more solid idea of reports from the ground.

I am not moaning I just think it is such a shame that it is a miss and hit situation now.

I absolutely agree with you Lee.  But I think it is more than this site that suffers.  I feel the communications with supporters is closing ranks around a few, but what I call the rank and file member are not being catered for these days

What are you talking about Bill? What has "communications with supporters" got to do with fans doing live scores on a forum?
My mum started doing the live score last season when dad was on the supporters club committee. Now he's working for the club and they are both too busy. Life happens.

I'm afraid you are missing the point Lynda, but I think this is explained in other threads.

There has been no criticism of your parents or anyone else Lynda.  Your parents did a marvellous job for this service and are still doing the same in other more important areas.

Please do not think I am in any way critical of anyone at the club.  People like your family are God sent to help this club.  Without their efforts I doubt whether this club would still be in exisitence.  I can assure you I understand how much they and a relatively small number of activists are doing for the club and to provide a relatively high standard of football for supporters in the town.  The amount of work they do is phenominal for such a small group.   I only wish I was younger and did not live 120 miles away as otherwise I would be one of that small group.

The only practical way I can help is to try assist with Live Scores service if others forward the data, and to identify ways work could be done more efficiently, improve its effectiveness or perhaps change priorities.  At the present time the latter of these is giving me some concern as  I see declining gates and frequently stated concerns of lack of interest for supporters.  This I see as a dangerous situation and feel it needs to be addressed with some urgency, hence some of my recent posts.

Yes Bill I'm obviously missing the point because I still have no idea what you are talking about. I think you need to talk to my dad if you think the Club is not interested in the supporters, but you will have to do that by email as he doesn't post here any more.
